First, if I were you...I would look for an area that has; 1) A Republican State Representative, 2) A Republican State Senator, and 3) A Republican U.S. Representative.
IMO, any thing less is going to land you in liberal country.

AND, if you’re thinkin’ up here in North Texas...better to be nearer to Fort Worth than Dallas. Again, IMHO, Fort Worth is a hell of lot more genuine than Dallas.

Look at Granbury or Aledo...just west, southwest of Fort Worth. Lots of areas north of Dallas (McKinney, Allen, Melissa). Great place to live
