They’ll be backloaded, yes, but worse than that, remember what a “cut” is.

They can just presume govt growth would occur at X% GDP, Y% Inflation and Z% population growth and use huge numbers for X, Y and Z. Then declare cuts from those absurdly high numbers and presto, they get a spending increase.

This is why spending has to cut from FY2012.

My greatest fear is the GOP will fall for this sort on nonsense. What counts are cuts in 2012 and 2013. That's all you can take to the bank.
