“We hope that issuing certified copies of the original Certificate of Live Birth to President Obama will end the numerous inquiries related to his birth in Hawaii,” Hawaii Health Director Loretta Fuddy said. “I have seen the original records filed at the Department of Health and attest to the authenticity of the certified copies the department provided to the President that further prove the fact that he was born in Hawaii.”

This is what Fuddy said:

"I have seen the original records" ... "and attest to the authenticity of the certified copies the department provided to the President"

She did not say that the certified copies were simply photo copies of those records. She said she released them to Obozo, but did not say that is what he released to the public. What he released to the public is an obvious forgery.

It might be a good idea for someone to ask Fuddy if what she released to Obozo and what is posted on the whitehouse.gov web site are identical or if they differ in any way, shape or form.

Fuddy does hold regular press conferences in her role as Hawaii Director of Health.

If there is an obvious forgery, someone should take that evidence to a law enforcement agency.
