There is more to the Ames Iowa event than just the straw poll? I believe there is a debate, major media coverage, mingling with the voters, etc. But then those that choose to blow it off can as that is their right.
I think mitt is blowing it off. timmy needs a good showing and it may be bachmann’s waterloo where hype meets reality. Not sure if Palin would want to join in or wait the results of that poll.
