Sarah Palin’s Iowa Ground Game (Organize4Palin is everywhere, others not so much)

Craig Robinson aptly notes that while former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin hasn’t been in Iowa much at all and doesn’t have any “official” ground game – she does have a ground game and it is formidable:

...Singleton and his team of Palin organizers have personally met with most of the county GOP chairs across the state. That is something that none of the current presidential campaigns can say that they have done. Instead of selling Iowa activists on Palin, they instead make sure that people understand that there is a possibility that Palin will run.

Even though Sarah Palin doesn’t play by the same rules that seem to govern the rest of the field of Republican candidates, she has developed an extensive ground game in Iowa, even if it’s not being officially coordinated by her or her advisors. In many ways, I think that Palin is probably more organized in Iowa in terms of grassroots communication than most of the current field. (emphasis mine)

I can attest to what Craig is saying, there is rarely an event I go to where Peter Singleton and Organize 4 Palin is not. I can’t say the same about the other campaigns. So if she gets in she’ll be able to hit the ground running. I’m looking forward to seeing her politic at the cook off that will be held after the movie premiere at the Pella Opera House tonight, she will definitely be in her element there. She has the ability more than any other candidate, I believe, to enter this race late and still be competitive in Iowa.

FR trolls suddenly want to jump out of the window on the 5th floor?

I told you guys that she will be ready in a flash and overwhelm some of the competition as soon as she gets in...they won't know what hit them

She's all over Iowa because she's not running.

If she were running, she wouldn't be there.

I'm sending her a thousand bucks the minute she declares, and a hundred a month automatically until the election.

You betcha! ;>)

By the way, anyone know if there's going to be any coverage, streaming or otherwise, of the festivities in Pella? I'd sure love to watch the goings-on from afar!

Heard they were at a GOP fund raiser in Central Iowa on Saturday night, but no Bachman anywhere. It is important for the candidates reps to attend these things.

Exactly! If she isn’t doing things that the GOP and other MSM says one must do then she isn’t serious...It’s only their way or no way.

Sounds like a plan!

She’s said repeatedly her decision depends on whether there is another candidate who is willing to carry the conservative banner, so I wonder how she views Cain and Bachmann. It would seem that this groundwork could be turned to the benefit of a candidate she endorses as well.

She was already asked about whether or not she see any candidate that she could support and she said ‘NO’ and that was including Cain and Bachmann (one of Sarah’s requirements is the person have executive experience)

She’s running.

I'm sending her a thousand bucks the minute she declares, and a hundred a month automatically until the election.

Good for you; real Americans will very much appreciate your patriotism.

I'm only sending one donation to (future) President Palin, at least until her reelection campaign. The day Sarah announces, my wife and I are both sending checks for $2500 to her campaign. That's the maximum legal donation, and it's hers on the first day of her campaign. While that's real money, it's a whole lot cheaper than the other method of watering the tree of liberty to maintain America as a free country for our children.

I couldn't not organize if I tried. I'm amazing! I'm also cleaning my bathroom bowl.

I Love Sarah, but I really want her to announce soon and make all the naysayers heads explode. It will be an awesome day when people can’t say “She’s not running.”

How so? She has no ties to Organize4Palin, its a separate grassroots group dedicated to getting her elected...are you being sour?
