I was very very disappointed in Pawlenty’s weak comment “it wouldn’t have been my style” in regard to campaign lit connected tangentially to Sarah with “bullseyes” on various districts. There are times when this crap simply has to be blasted AND RIDICULED.
I know Tim Paw is a nice man, not given to outrage, but there are times when you need to NOT ACCEPT THE PREMISE, and reject it in terms loud and strong and passionate.
Can Pawlenty cut through the leftists’ and press corps’ hate speech and push back? I’m thinking not. And I’ve been somewhat of a fan of Pawlenty.
I have a higher standard for SP?
What is it?
Sarah ain’t Jesus. Hell, she ain’t even Reagan, but so many here revere her so. Not cutting her up, will vote for her if she’s nominated, but doubt she will even run.
No good will ever come of Free Republic’s Sarah worship, and I refuse to bow down.
Hi Dr. Scarpetta!!!
You are so right about nbc! Evil and nothing but an arm of the Marxist’s White House.
Hi!
I have a sister-in-law who watches Brian Williams on NBC every night. I repeatedly explain to her that NBC is a despicable organization and that she should watch Fox News instead.
Sarah would never have been targeted by the media if NBC hadn’t mocked her week after week for years on SNL.
It’s hard for me to read the things people say about her.
What are you talking about, and why are you using the word 'worship?' I, for one, think she's an excellent conservative candidate.
In hindsight, yes.
If they had had the grace to apologize after even the historian consulted by NPR(!!) said she was right, then I'd have said she was exaggerating.
But no longer.
Cheers!
Cheers!
We need to get you on one of those Shroud of Palin threads, you'd be right at home.
Cheers!
Sarah worship?
Posts 2. 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 25, 51 and 66.
I do not watch the network news and I rarely watch Shepard Smith.
I watch Bret Baier and that’s about it.
What have you seen so far today, and what are you going to take away from your visit? is a lamestream media gotcha qiestion?
You sound very foolish to me.
err, “question”
To win an election a person needs to be popular. That is nothing new. You can say the same thing about anyone that wins an election to anything.
1 Cor. 1:23-25.
Sarah is obviously praying her way through all of this.
Can't you just smell it? (2 Cor 2:14-16).
Get your olfactories checked. (Look at whose heads she is making explode; just by existing. And in that connection, consider Ann Coulter's latest book, and the reactions of demon-possessed people both to Jesus and to some of the great Christians of the past. "Who are you, sir?" asked a man on the railway car of the early Pentecostal evangelist Smith Wigglesworth. "You convict me of sin" [merely by sitting in the same car with him].)
Sometimes I suspect something similar is going on with Sarah.
It would be consistent, in a fascinating way, with her rejoinder at the early interview in quoting Lincoln "Let us pray that we are on God's side"...
Cheers!
Goodness gracious. Where has this idiot been since she was nominated for the VP spot in 2008?
If the SRM had vetted *&^%&* as much as they have Sarah, he would be unemployed or in jail.
Typical Palin hater.
Bingo!!! She threatens 'business as usual'...these corrupt thugs in Washington (Democrats and Republicans) have been robbing us blind for years, and they scared sh*tless that Sarah will come in and upset the apple cart. What will they do without the parties, the bribes, the graft, the corruption?
“Constitutional Government....by Flyover Country..leaves the thieves in DC cold and sweaty.
And with your Bible references, “but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles”, “and thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him” you seem not just foolish, but something other than sane.
To you, Sarah is Jesus, or is his agent of praise and triumph here on earth?
Seriously?
To you, Sarah is Jesus, or is his agent of praise and triumph here on earth?
Seriously?
Here, let me help you. You don't know how to do sarcasm very well, apparently.
Try it like this:
She is a strong Christian, and those who in their hearts are opposed to Christ can tell it.
Anyone with a shred of honesty, and with an IQ over the low 30's, can extract that from my earlier post without resorting to your strawman exaggerations and attempted ad hominem.
TO begin with, you misquoted the verses I gave -- by *truncating* the references.
The point of the first quote was that Sarah is going "against the grain" and contradicting the conventional wisdom (e.g. not having a formal organization, not announcing the itinerary of the bus tour to the press in advance, relying on alternative media such as Twitter, Facebook, and the like instead of press releases). And, doing it quite well.
She hasn't even *declared* and yet sucks all the oxygen out of the room merely by showing up.
How many other unsuccessful VP candidates--who, as the detractors are careful to tell us, have not yet declared, and who, according to other detractors, "are not even going to run anyway"--have facebook pages of people literally wishing they were dead (adorned with a painting of said candidate holding a pistol to their head)? How many other unsuccessful VP candidates are still drawing bitter op-ed pieces from poli-sci professors at New York universities, as well as erstwhile right-of-center talk show hosts?
To go on as she has ("unprofessionally") and yet to do so well, indicates that there is more going on than just beginner's luck, particularly with the vast opposition to her from the left -- "the politics of personal destruction."
If the Bamster had faced even 10% of the vicious criticism and unalloyed hatred unleashed at Sarah, he'd be in a padded cell write now, using his toes to write coded messages in crayon on the walls of his padded cell to the space aliens.
(Granted, that's about all his economic policies amount to anyway, but that's beside the point.)
The second quote, relates to my admonition to about your olfactory -- it was a Biblical allusion. And I adduced examples of other cases, both Biblical, and elsewhere in the Christian tradition, where people start "foaming at the mouth" so to speak at the mention or presence of other people.
Even you cannot be so dense as to have missed the same thing happening with regards to Palin and/or her candidacy.
Apparently the "director's cut" of The Undefeated has a montage of just such foul language and hatred directed at Palin: and not by "gotcha" questions or spy-cams, but by people willingly saying this stuff while KNOWING they were on camera, people who spend a lot of their professional lives being filmed or taped.
Your responses are confirming you as a troll.
Cheers!
