"Unexpectedly" Compilation
Pundit Press ^ | 6/23/11 | Aurelius

The Main Stream Media seems to be constantly shocked at how poorly the American economy is doing under ObamaNomics. Whenever poor business, house, or job news comes out, they are quick to throw on the word "unexpectedly," pretending that the economy is actually doing great, but this one time it hiccupped. But the problem is, the poor economic news is quite expected because of President Obama's incompetence .

So, I decided to take some time and compile some of the "unexpectedlies" from the start of the year until today. But before I begin, just remember what Albert Einstein once said (which is normally attributed to Benjamin Franklin): "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

So, without further ado:

U.S. Consumer Sentiment Unexpectedly Falls to Six-Month Low on Job Outlook, from Bloomberg, May 31, 2011

US Q4 growth unexpectedly revised down, from EuroNews, February 25, 2011

So called experts being surprised over and over again tells you something about their competence.

Actually I really believe we have a den of thieves operating in Washington and their incompetence act is just their cover to avoid prosecution

Some decent conservative journalist should do an article on this. Track down the "expectors" and ask them to defend their positions. Why did you expect better results? What evidence did you use to come up with your number? After having been wrong every week since Obama was elected why have you not learned to expect the unexpected?

Neil Cavuto should get on top of this.

The lamestream media is on to you. They are now using variations on "unexpected" to foil your searches. Witness today's CNBC article linked to Drudge: Jobs Picture Grows Worse as Weekly Claims Post Jump. First line is "New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits rose more than expected last week,..."

Yea, I had to make that because the "unexpected" news was too easy to pass up.

The current administration’s economic decision makers are, unexpectedly, not as smart as they first thought.

With my deepest apologies to the late, great Nat King Cole. To the tune of "Unforgettable":

“Unexpectedly”
That’s what they say,
“Unexpectedly”…
Though it happens each day.

Like a Jobs Report that stinks, you see
In a stubborn-growth economy
Never before
Has something been more...

Unexpectedly
Slow to get well
And forever more
That's how it’ll smell.

Unexpectedly
Slow to improve
And with Barry O
We’re stuck in a groove.

That's why some think it's incredibly,
Remarkably, unexpectedly
Sure Barack will lose
“Unexpectedly”, too.
