Well, since the federal government took over student loans, the days of bill collectors are gone I guess and SWAT teams will be sent instead. The article says they were federal agents from the DoE’s Office of Inspector General...why the hell does DoE even have law enforcement officers? Scary scary stuff.

That's the downside of the federalization of the student loan program. No more bill collectors; no more civil action ~ the federal government just isn't equipped to deal with small claims.

Now, think about how the IRS is going to collect on missed monthly payments for Obamakkkare insurance. And if you go to court, you will be going to a federal court in a distant city ~ the hotel bills alone should bankrupt you.

With private insurance doing private things for private American citizens we use local police and the county courthouse to settle accounting disputes.
