Obama Throws Israel Under The Bus

I wasn’t planning on discussing this issue today, but we do address important foreign policy issues on this site when the occasion demands it. Needless to say, President Obama’s insistence that the state of Israel, which has heretofore been our most trusted and reliable ally in the Middle East, return to annihilatory borders is such an occasion.

Putting aside for a moment the observation that these borders are utterly indefensible, which has been made by experts much more well-versed in this subject than me, there are several issues with the President’s new “peace” proposals that pose even greater barriers to the adoption of what he seems to think will be a final resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. One of them being the fact that these new guidelines are an explicit repudiation of the ironclad guarantees enunciated by President Bush when he and former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon decided that Israel should unilaterally withdraw from the Gaza Strip.

Israel’s disengagement from Gaza required the heart-breaking removal of Israeli civilians from the homes in which they had lived for decades, not to mention the complete and utter destruction of a thriving economy that was in short order replaced by Hamas military bases from which rockets are now launched into Israeli territory.

Also on the Palestinian agenda: America is labelled the exploiter of Arabs and everyone else on the planet. We are to give back to all oppressed and exploited peoples billions/trillions of dollars. Egypt, for instance. Their departed leader stole billions in US. Well, now we’re told it’s our fault and we must return hundreds of billions if not trillions to Egypt. That’s the short list. Israel is the appetizer, folks. America is the main course, and Obama is sharpening the knife.

Palestine extends into Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. In 1970, some two-thirds of the Jordanian population was Palestinian. Why is it only Israel that must give up territory?

The simple truth is that there never was a nation called Palestine. It was made up because the Muslims thought they could easily defeat the Jews. When their wars failed to push the Jews out, those that left the areas they used to live in became burdens on Jordan and Syria. So they became 'Palestinians' and perpetuated the victim status for decades.

Jordan certainly didn't want them - read about 'Black September' (which put an end to the PLO's rogue state-within-a-state in Jordan in 1970), and the Black September Organization (BSO), i.e., 'Fatah forces' in northern Jordan, who continued to fight the Jordanian Army until 1971 after Jordan expelled Yasser Arafat and the PLO. They went to Lebanon, where they proceeded to create a similar state-within-a-state, weaponizing a dozen Palestinian refugee camps around Beirut and in South Lebanon, and destabilizing the Lebanese government, just as they had done in Jordan. The PLO was expelled from Lebanon following Israel's 1982 invasion.

The Palestinian group Hamas openly operates a political office in Damascus, where it maintains close contacts with Iranian officials. The leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which, like Hamas, has claimed responsibility for suicide bombings in Israel, is resident in Damascus. Damascus has allowed the Iranian-backed Hizballah terrorist organization to operate freely from areas of Lebanon under Syrian control; Syria also permits Iran to resupply periodically Hizballah through Damascus airport.

The reality is they don't want a separate state, they want the place currently known as Israel. They don't want to live in peace but to take over what the Jews worked so hard to build since Israel's conception. Why does everyone know this but Obama?

When do we impeach the boy king? If he were white he’d be long gone. He ignores the Constitution, appoints czars by the dozens, lies as a matter of course, vulgarizes the White House and the office of the Presidency, and works tirelessly to destroy this country. Seeing Bibi smack him down yesterday was a dose of reality that cut through the PC baloney, the lies. Well, he’s a Muslim and yes, a malignant narcissist.
