I’m tempted to accuse O’D of trying to build Olby-esque cred with MSNBC’s viewers by being so confrontational with one of Bush’s lieutenants, but that would be unfair. The hallmark of “Countdown” was avoiding confrontation; only the three cameras arrayed around Olby’s desk knew what it was like to receive the “sir” treatment face to face. Credit to O’Donnell for being willing to sit down with her, at least. It was a, er, gutsy call.
If you’re thinking you’d rather pass on the umpteen-thousandth Iraq war debate in which neither party has a remote chance of convincing the other, think again. Just wait until this one gets going. You won’t be sorry

Why on earth would Condi sit down with Lawrence “I’m not a Democrat, I’m a Socialist” O’Donnell? This guy is not a serious news man and MSNBC primetime is nothing more than DNC propaganda.
I don’t know why anyone would even agree to be in the same room as O’Dbag, but Condi did good, and came out on top. IMHO
Yup, just finished watching it for the 2nd time and she was impressive.
I do wish the Bush administration was this good at communicating while they were in power.

I had plenty of problems with W, but does it ever occur to O'Donnell that Bush might be tweaking at Osama's ego, to get him to telegraph his location?

Damn, Condi threw a no hitter against O’Donnel. She totally and I mean TOTALLY controlled that interview. I believe copies of this should be sent to every Rep elected official with instructions asking them to learn how it should be done.
