What is it about communism that captures the imaginations of so many Americans? In the end I think it must be simple ignorance and in some cases stupidity. I’ve been to a number of former E bloc countries and there was nothing nice, glamorous or captivating about the rape perpetrated on them by the commies. I say rape b/c thats really what it amounted to. I’m sure those happy faces in the parade would tell another tale if they had to walk the talk. Their std of living would be *substantially* less than what they enjoy now plus there would be no freedom to go beyond the govt line. I think Americans are very insulated from the real world and suffer for it.

It's nothing new. I can see how people could have unknowingly fallen for the line many years ago, but not now. Now all is known about the reality of communism.

Marxists are completely indoctrinated in the belief that all religions (opiate of the masses) are bogus philosophies concocted to oppress and control people. The only thing they hold pure are natural laws of science. However, the core of their beliefs is that the “class struggle” garbage they are taught is a natural law, similiar to the chinese Yin/Yang.
