Does anyone really think he'll give up earnings from his real estate ventures, golf courses and tv shows for a paltry presidential salary?

Only if there is the chance he could lose it all, which is exactly what the left is after.

Unfortunately, the GOP isn't putting up enough of a resistance to that and other things.

Not one of the previous contenders have a hope in hell of getting my vote... I left the Republican party when the leftist scum McCain was nominated...

McCain was a turning point for me as well....but I held my nose and voted for him anyway.

One thing that Trump has going for him is that the dems don't know how to react....yet. As a businessman, he's contributed big bucks to them as insurance for his business venture$. Now they've lost it. The current administration's mishandling of the economy, the high unemployment and attacks on big business must have hurt Trump where it matters....his wallet. (Think Atlantic City gambling and conventions). He is losing now and wants it to stop.

The GOP and the RNC suffer from their choice of McCain and must know we all suffer from the election of a less than full term, back bench senator from Chicago. They played their hand by the rules and the republicans in congress tried to play by parliamentary rules once the 2008 elections were over and got their teeth knocked out by Chicago thugs, Reid and Pelosi; hence the Tea Party's emergence.

They're still addled but Trump is a welcomed diversion.
