COLUMBUS, Ohio — Prosecutors have decided against charging six people who police say broke the law in 2009 by helping a teenage Christian convert run away to Florida from her Muslim parents in Ohio.
Police in Ohio and Florida say the individuals who helped 16-year-old Rifqa Bary leave Columbus on a bus and then sheltered her for two weeks in Orlando, Florida, without notifying authorities went too far.
The proposed charge of interference with custody was contained in police reports obtained by The Associated Press through records requests.
Police stand by their decisions to recommend charges while lawyers for those who helped the girl say prosecutors made the right choice.
Lawyers say the six, who include a Columbus family friend and an Orlando pastor a
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Islam missed the chance to stone a little girl to death for no good reason. That must really frustrate them. It tickles me. Congratulations to her!
Dearest Rifqa,
Buy a gun. Learn how to use it. Carry it. Everywhere.
Get a dog. Maybe two. Make sure they are BIG dogs. German Shephards, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans are very very loyal and can bite very very hard.

Nachum
Thanks for posting. I was at the Rally For Rifqa in Columbus, OH on November of 2009. I met FReeper suntzu there.
Rifqa has been silent since her release. I hope she is well.
Prayers for this brave young lady and the people who rescued her.
Sorry for the “thread” resurrection (pardon the pun)...
Rifqa had an interview on FoxNews about her story and book coming out...
It is still a very compelling story, and sad that she has to continue to protect herself from her family and that “other” religion...[cough, gag, spit...]
I do not know, but does she have a standing RO on them, for legal purposes of course...
I have feeling she has a few guardian angels keeping an eye on her these days...
