Trump may have enough money and the right connections to find out anything he wants. My question is why would he wait so long to use that money and those connections, while our country is being harmed by this guy.....

Your question assumes he's known what he knows, if anything , for a long time. It may be that he's just started looking hard and has had his eyes opened very recently. Who knows?
