President Obama sends an important message to those celebrating the holiday of Nowruz. In his Nowruz message the President speaks to the Iranian people, in particular the Iranian youth: "... you -- the young people of Iran -- carry within you both the ancient greatness of Persian civilization, and the power to forge a country that is responsive to your aspirations. Your talent, your hopes, and your choices will shape the future of Iran, and help light the world. ... I want you to know that I am with you."

“O” is a babbling idiot! He needs a sphincter on his mouth.
Actually Nowruz is Persian, not Muslim and traces back to Zorasterism.
It is interesting that the holiday seems to be based on the sun crossing the equator or its leaving the house of Aries. They are not the same thing, and have not been close for well over a thousand years.
Westerners “celebrate” the vernal equinox based on the sun’s ecliptic longitude, not it’s celestial declination. The event “sun crosses the equator” is based on the sun’s celestial declination, it is the point where the sun enters the northern celestial hemisphere. The alternative (western) definition is “sun crosses zero degrees ecliptic longitude”, it is the point where the sun enters the western ecliptic hemisphere. The two events are close in time. This year the sun crossed the equator at 03:07 UT on March 21, but the “vernal equinox” was at 23:21 UT on March 20. Both events were on March 20 on Iranian time.
The best thing is, not having the same vernal equinox as the Iranians must confuse and infuriate them.
The gaucherie and insidiousness of this proclamation knows no bounds.
He gives this laudatory message to the Persians on a holiday none of us ever heard of.
He gives no congratulations to the Jews or Israel on the very same day, as they celebrate Purim, in which they give thanks to God who used Esther to thwart an attempt by Persians to exterminate them!
Yikes! Hard to figure how any Jew could ever vote for this clown.
