Is Sarah Palin the only candidate who I’ve said is flawed? I have never singled her out to put her down. I have always mentioned her in a longer mention of all the GOP potential candidates. Believe it or not, there are actually some things I really like about Palin. My favorite thing she ever said was, “Don’t Retreat, Reload” and her refusal to back down when she was being blamed during the Tucson tragedy actually made me like her even more. She is far more conservative than Newt, Mitt, and Huck. However, I do think when you look at each issue, especially when it comes to the Federal Reserve, Herman Cain is a stronger more conservative candidate. I have also not forgiven Sarah Palin for her endorsement of John McCain and her tweet in support of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Herman Cain would not have done either of those things. I know everyone will say she endorsed John McCain out of loyalty or she did it because the media would have attacked her if she hadn’t...but I don’t want a candidate who compromises their values out of loyalty or cares about what the media thinks. Herman Cain won’t compromise and doesn’t care what the media thinks. He should be the Tea Party Choice!!! Also, the most important thing all the Palin fans need to realize, right now she is not running for President nor has she signaled she will be running. Like it or not, the current GOP field is what it is, and until that changes you should pick a side and stand with the most conservative candidate Herman Cain!
Hi Les,
I know that we most likely agree on far more than we disagree on. I will look into your candidate, Mr. Cain. I do not like or agree with some of your characterizations of Sarah Palin however, “Unlike Sarah Palin, Herman Cain is not a attention starved reality show star, but is an the real deal.” I do not believe that comparisons like that are accurate or productive in the long run.
Sincerely,
Steve
