OK, I’ll take your word for it. No offense intended.
Listen the goal is to save the nation everything else is secondary.
If Oreilly thinks that Cain has no shot of winning, or will concede to the statist agenda, he will support him.
So there it is as plain as day.
When this nation faces the disaster that is coming and you have a guy who continues to make moral equivalences between marxism and conservatism, he is the enemy plain and simple.
Facts are facts not fair and balanced. Fair and balanced is ok for a HS debate competition, but has no place in the search for truth and in saving a nation.
My point exactly.
Palin 2012 ~ "Going Oval"
;-\
Why would he want to do that?
He’s concerned with conserving himself.
I understand that you have been on Free Republic since January primarily as an enthusiastic supporter of Herman Cain. I understand that Mr. Cain needs any type of publicity to get himself on the map. I do question the value of O’Reilly to promote a “true conservative”.
I also looked over your many many negative comments on Sarah Palin. I personally have a big problem with “true conservatives” who pass themselves off as Tea Party members attacking Sarah Palin. I don't know anything about Mr. Cain, but if his devoted followers have similar attitudes to yours then it reflects very poorly on him from my perspective. I think your attacks on Sarah Palin are actually a huge disservice to your chosen candidate.
I was a supporter of Ronald Reagan before he was president at a time when most of the conservative elite were ridiculed and in fact despised him. I do not agree with everything Sarah Palin says or does. I have despised McCain for many years. Ronald Reagan is a true hero of mine; I see a lot of President Reagan in Sarah Palin. Many "true conservatives" used the same tactics against Ronald Reagan as people like you and Bill O’Reilly have against Sarah Palin. These attacks give me a very strong sense of deja vu. They didn't work against Governor Reagan; I don't think they will work against Governor Palin.
But good luck on your plan for getting your candidate on the BOR Show. Maybe the two of them can trash Sarah Palin some more and give her some more free publicity. LOL!
Sincerely,
Steve
Is Sarah Palin the only candidate who I’ve said is flawed? I have never singled her out to put her down. I have always mentioned her in a longer mention of all the GOP potential candidates. Believe it or not, there are actually some things I really like about Palin. My favorite thing she ever said was, “Don’t Retreat, Reload” and her refusal to back down when she was being blamed during the Tucson tragedy actually made me like her even more. She is far more conservative than Newt, Mitt, and Huck. However, I do think when you look at each issue, especially when it comes to the Federal Reserve, Herman Cain is a stronger more conservative candidate. I have also not forgiven Sarah Palin for her endorsement of John McCain and her tweet in support of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Herman Cain would not have done either of those things. I know everyone will say she endorsed John McCain out of loyalty or she did it because the media would have attacked her if she hadn’t...but I don’t want a candidate who compromises their values out of loyalty or cares about what the media thinks. Herman Cain won’t compromise and doesn’t care what the media thinks. He should be the Tea Party Choice!!! Also, the most important thing all the Palin fans need to realize, right now she is not running for President nor has she signaled she will be running. Like it or not, the current GOP field is what it is, and until that changes you should pick a side and stand with the most conservative candidate Herman Cain!
Bill listens to no one but his ego.
Hi Les,
I know that we most likely agree on far more than we disagree on. I will look into your candidate, Mr. Cain. I do not like or agree with some of your characterizations of Sarah Palin however, “Unlike Sarah Palin, Herman Cain is not a attention starved reality show star, but is an the real deal.” I do not believe that comparisons like that are accurate or productive in the long run.
Sincerely,
Steve
