Fitzgerald says recall strings being pulled from D.C. (VIDEO, AUDIO)

The leader of state Senate Republicans says dots are being connected on efforts to recall some of his members. State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said Tuesday that the recall efforts targeting eight of his members are a real source of concern. “Sure. You know recall of an elected official is a very serious thing, and everybody takes it very seriously,” said Fitzgerald.

And Fitzgerald suggested that the motivation and support for a lot of these recall efforts are not just about the Wisconsin Senate, but about presidential politics. “We’re really beginning, I think, to believe that this isn’t just about the Wisconsin state Senate or the legislature,” he said. “This is about ties directly from the White House down to many of those that are involved in the recalls, and really how Wisconsin plays out in the next presidential election.

While there are also recall efforts underway against five Senate Democrats, Fitzgerald said it’s ironic that Republican Senators are under recall threat for votes they haven’t even taken yet, while Democrat state Representative Godorn Hintz doesn’t face a similar threat for his arrest at an Appleton massage parlor last month.

Didn’t Move-on and some outfit out of Utah start the original recall drives in WI?

Recall efforts like this are rarely successful. This is just some intimidation from the regime.

This regime is so over the top!

Can you IMAGINE the howls if Bush had done 1/16 of the things Obama has said and done?

Sounds like a few crimes are being committed by Obama operatives in DC.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The Democrats only survive because of their corrupt government schemes that recycle taxpayer money into campaign contributions to the Democratic Party. Walker’s bill would destroy this recycling process in WI, and if it catches on in other states, it spells doom for the Democrats. That’s why Obama is orchestrating this.

You’re right.

To lose WI will deflate their base and be a crushing blow to socialism and Obama’s legacy for a weakened U.S.

They will poor everything they have into destroying the GOP in WI.

Sort of like fighting world-wide Islamic terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan.

thanks for the post. Listened to Vickie McKenna of newstalk1130 (online) She may have links there,(Missed the first hour of Rush so listening to Rush there too). Glenn Grothman was talking about the outside groups Organizing America, MoveOne.org, Howard deans group, Seiu and others all financing the Recall petitions with paid operatives getting the recall petition applications.

The DNC and the DCCC are also paying for the 14 Wisconsin Democratic senators to stay out of Wisconsin till as late as August when the recall election process is achieved.

Unbelievable.

The citizens of Wisconsin need to get on the road and make their voices heard. LOUD and CLEAR.

Maybe, but all eyes should focus like laserbeams on Secretary of State La Follette, DEMOCRAT, because it will most likely be the SOS who verifies the petitions.

Yes, Vicki brought home the all important point that the big labor unions et al. are pulling the strings and funnelling huge sums of money into our state.

Our side doesn’t have the funds to compete. We here in WI. need to pour efforts into helping with recalls: making sure that theirs(against GOP Senators) fail and ours(against the Fleebagging Dim.cowards) succeed.

I thought Grothman, Walker and Fitzgerald all seemed to be kind of out of touch, in their morning interviews.
This isn’t about the Fleebaggers and whether and when they decide to come home. They have duped us into thinking that they are just about “ready”, when in fact, they were never going to return.
The unionistas are calling the shots by not letting them come back. They want more time to raise big money for the recalls of GOP legislators.
We know more than the politicians do at this point.
