Wind power is a complete disaster"Denmark, the worlds most wind-intensive nation, with more than 6,000 turbines generating 19% of its electricity, has yet to close a single fossil-fuel plant. It requires 50% more coal-generated electricity to cover wind powers unpredictability, and pollution and carbon dioxide emissions have risen (by 36% in 2006 alone)."

The people of Maryland should see the eyesore we in the Midwest have to contend with ...ugly windmill forests that stretch from horizon to horizon. Maryland is a small state and would residents like to see scenic areas like their Eastern shore filled with the thousands of these monstrosities that would be needed to meet this renewable energy goal and put up with the higher electric costs and rolling blackouts they will produce?
