The Ground Zero Mosque: Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks

Last night, I had the distinct pleasure of attending one of the first New York City screenings of The Ground Zero Mosque: Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks. Produced and directed by Pamela Geller, with the assistance of her friend and colleague, scholar Robert Spencer, the documentary attempts to explore the at times dubious motivations behind Cordoba House’s financiers and spokespeople, including Imam Rauf and his wife, Daisy Khan.

As you can see from the pictures below, the film attracted a capacity crowd, one that was very animated in its opposition to the concept of locating what many view as a triumphal mosque within walking distance of the site where thousands of Americans were murdered on September 11, 2001.

Some interesting information on the Ground Zero Mosque.

Why the design?

It’s the semblance of the destruction of the Star of David (the Jews).

Why Park 51?

Cordoba House changed its name to Park 51 which is odd since the address of the location is 45 47 Park Place.

Look to the Koran-the book of islamic conquest Qur'an CHAPTER 51, Verses 45-47 explains all:

51:45 And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves. 51:46 And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient. 51:47 And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.

The numbered Qur'an verses celebrating the Muslim conquests match up to the Park 51: 45-47 address.

Then consider

4+5=9

4+7=11

All coincidence. Right?

They're starting out on the east coast, then moving their way west.

But like the pamphlet stated, they're open to hosting local film screenings if you can find available venues.
