OK, I guess I was asking for the Moon! ;) Have at him all you want over his pompous delivery. I rarely watch any of these people other than a clip on the net, they all annoy me.

On the serious event at hand, I can’t disagree with K’s take on the Mubarack/Military flubbing of how the people were handled.

A significant fraction of Egyptians are relatively educated and secular compared to surrounding countries. Some of them are 22-50 year old women who yearn for economic and social freedom in their lives. They know how they will suffer if the MB acquires power, but they are taking that chance. They are the ones deserving of our good thoughts as they are caught between the jaws of Mubarak and the Muslim Bloodyhood, who represent the worst outome possible for Egypt and the world.

I don’t want to see a bloodbath. I wish the military would take over and move up the elections so the MB has less time to spread its’ poison. What I don’t know is the level of MB influence inside the military. Complicated. All we can do is observe.

My reaction to the oh so intellectual Krauthammer is his prediction of an 'explosion' when the mosques empty tomorrow. NOT words a supposed trained shrink typically would use given the recent lessons of incivility in the usage of 'vitriolic' language. Most especially since NOT one human being on this planet knows with certainty who is going to take power. We have NO clue who the 'community activist' might be lurking in the shadows of the multitude of protesters.
