Watching Katie Couric being harassed and shoved by a crowd of angry men in Cairo was especially jarring. Our little Katie? Make no mistake. Perky Katie is also brave Katie.

She ran away. Some courage.
Bravery? I sincerely doubt that. It’s more likely to be stupidity and....a puffed up self-image.

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
Our Brave little Katie, extreme Ipecac alert.
Why, because they're not like the big union thugs yelling a Palin or other women Republicans or beating them up in the street in New Orleans? None of that was worth calling “jarring” nor was it worth calling any of the women involve brave or dedicated over.

Want to see a real brave woman in a Muslim country? You don’t have far to look. Look at the millions of ordinary Muslim women who don’t have a choice and who can’t run away. Look at the ones who get beaten every week, or who live in fear of being stoned to death if they are raped, or who have to live their lives literally wearing a sack over their entire bodies. Katie’s little tussle doesn’t hold a candle to what they do on a regular basis.
Now when they get a dose of the same reality, they brand themselves as heroic victims.
