The inconvenient truths about Al Gore’s house versus a house in Texas

Now that Al Gore’s ridiculous “global warming” lies are melting he’s fair game for a kick while he’s down. This information has been around for a while but it is still true and worth keeping in mind for the next time we hear this jackass braying about other people’s lifestyles.

Gore has made outlandish charges about the wastefulness of others, now it’s time to turn things around. Gore’s Tennessee house versus George W. Bush’s Texas house

Gore’s home is 10,000 square feet, has 20 rooms and 8 bathrooms. It’s located in an upscale area near Nashville and uses about 12 times the average amount of electricity his neighbors consume – 191,00 kwhs versus 15,600 kwhs. Gore’s home is approximately 4 times bigger than the average American’s. Gore’s house uses over $2,400 a month in gas and electric; 20 times the national average.

Bush’s house in Texas is 4,000 square feet has 4 bedrooms and sits on a prairie. It has a central closet that holds geothermal heat-pumps connected to pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground drawing water that is naturally maintained at 67 degrees year round.

The 67 degree water works to both heat and cool the Bush’s house. A small amount of electricity is used to pump and distribute the water throughout the house to heat and cool it as required. The house uses rain water collected in a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. All waste water is recycled and reused for family consumption and to water the plants surrounding the house.

Because the Texas house is owned and lived in by former President George W. Bush, this is a story you won’t hear from the mainstream media. It doesn’t fit their template that Gore is an eco-saint and George W. Bush is Satan….

Thanks for sharing this story, I have seen this a number of times but the media seems to have no interest in it.

Gore has a pompous air about him that completely put me off.

Supercilious.

Another acceptable exception per the Mainstream Media... Too arrogant to see their own hypocracy.

I assume you are talking about Bush’s house in Crawford. He actually lives most of the time in an upscale neighborhood in Dallas in a much larger home. That would have been a more appropriate comparison.

It’s pretty funny to hear this story when you recall that the media considered Bush as everything against Environmental Policy, yet he lives with commodities commendable from the Greens such as geothermal heating. What’s also forgettable was the fact that Bush Jr. also was also a funder of both electric and fuel cell car research, but then alas, apparently in their system of saints and sinners, a saint can only have a “D” next to his name, and not an “R”
