There are two videos at this site. The first one is of Arabs in the Gaza Strip cheering after the towers fell on 911. The second video has an American AH-64 Apache Gunship observing Taliban militants armed and dangerous as they sit around a campfire. The next thing these Islamic terrorists know, they are in hell, courtesy of a hellfire missile.
When I saw this video and showed it to her, she said her son never talked about it, but now she has at least an inkling of how he felt when he took out his targets.
Can you explain why the Taliban did not notice the ‘copter and take cover?
Awesome video. Vince with his Slap Chop couldn’t have mashed these vermin into smaller pieces of sh*t.
The distance is misleading. The camera was perhaps from a drone at a great distance, and the missle was fired and merely tracked a beam placed on the target by the drone or some other system. Thus, the tallys do not hear the drone or the deliverer.
Good question, do you think maybe they were too far away for them to hear?
I’m an old lady who never even thought I would ever see the things i see, let a lone know someone who’s son did this stuff in the military. My son was way between wars and never spent time away from hi base in Georgia.
So maybe someone else can tell us.
Anyone know why they did not notice the helicopter was onto them?
In any case, they do not even seem to be using a spotter with binoculars.
Normally, if you are in an area where enemy attack is possible, you should be on the alert. If I were them, I would routinely dig in whenever stopping.
I would say our boys know how to speak to the muzzies!
That never gets old.
Can you explain why the Taliban did not notice the copter and take cover?
The chopper was too far away to hear well. The video makes it look like they were close but they could easily been more than a mile away.
The effective range of the 30mm they are using is .9miles, max range much more than that so they could be easily up to 3/4 of a mile away. Also when moving slow the AH64 is fairly quiet compared to most big birds.
To begin with, the Apache is very quiet. That the Apache was more than a mile away sure helps avoid detection.
flying jihadi is always nice to see
It warms my heart on a cold winter night to see jihadiots blown to bits.
Do you notice how, as in this case, some lucky SOB always gets up and walks away just at the last moment. It’s uncanny.
Best reply ever...
Really.
ROFL
Yes I have noticed that. It’s weird.
The Hellfire is an antitank weapon. Someone else may know better but as far as I know, it doesn't have a fragmentation sleeve over it's warhead. So, when it hits, the primary blast force is in the direction of travel.
Even when bracketed by 30mm fire, "squirters" can occur due to uneven terrain shielding someone from blast effects.
