I think a lot of this "anti-bullying" talk and regulation is an attempt to take us in that direction. criticism = bullying = hate = crime = jail.
And yet the typical classification of Christian teachings on homosexuality as “homophobic” will never be considered “denigrating religious teachings.” I will never understand why the left will so vigorously defend Islam, the most misogynistic, “homophobic,” and rabidly “right-wing” religion in the world, and then turn to attack with equal passion the exponentially more peaceful and tolerant Christians. And in so doing they describe Christianity in words which would fit in every detail the religion they passionately defend, Islam. Very strange.

It started sometime back with PC and has gotten to the stage now of making rules and passing laws to regulate, it’ll get worse.
Yes, and the left would be some of the first to be targeted for many of their actions if they lived under Sharia Law.

I am not sure I understand where you’re going with this.
It doesn’t have to be - if enough of us can tolerate the hatred and threats from the clueless. I’ve lived and worked in a Muslim country and learned their language; nobody can refute my experience. If they choose to label me without the benefit of the same type of background, that’s their loss.
I’m not so sure.
There is more to why the left wants to destroy opposition to Shariah law. I don’t know what that something is, I can’t put my finger on it, but I know there is more to it.
