Just minutes after shots rang out in Tucson two Saturdays ago, liberal "journalists" began to tie former VP candidate Sarah Palin to the shooting, in the complete absence of facts. After it was learned that the shooter, Jared Loughner, was most likely liberal and did not listen to Sarah Palin at all, left-wing pundits still continued to blame Palin. Unfortunately, it worked to a large degree.
A poll released yesterday found that 35% of Americans believe that Palin is at least partially to blame for the shooting. 35% of Americans bought into the lie. 35% of Americans must be morons.
According to Gallup, only 21% of Americans see themselves as liberals, so that leaves at least 14% of Americans that blindly find Palin behind the trigger in Tucson. Blaming Palin for the insanity of Jared Loughner is so beyond idiotic, I honestly believe that there must be another dimension that I am unaware of, simply because so much stupidity cannot be contained in our reality.

Palin is being targeted.
Why would a pollster with any modicum of professionalism even ask such a question? Never mind...don’t answer that.
And why in the world would Gallup conduct such a poll?
Great minds - see above.
How screwed are we as a country?....when you have the press pulling communist propaganda tactics? When you have the moron masses who drool when they vote listening to these jackwagons in the media and then actually believing it.
How screwed are we...very sad. The dumbing down of America over the years has worked.
They just polled Democrats and Liberals most likely through Progressive Talk Radio and NPR.
FNC has attacked Palin as much as anyone with its neocon and RINO “contributors.” I have stopped watching FNC. If enough people stop watching Fox, it may stop trying to be CNN-Lite.
Tell a lie enough times and people will start to believe it.
I think it is time that we stop kidding ourselves about the ‘New Media’: Fox, Rush et al and the Net. The facts are that the ‘Old Media’ had the power to elect Obama in 2008 and they are not dead (can I use that word) yet. This latest episode, where they essentially tarred and feathered Sarah Palin will certainly be declared as a successful operation by the Left. The lesson learned: the old tricks still work. It will encourage them and we will see more of it in the coming months. This is going to be one hell of fight in 2012. The most important election since 1980, IMHO.
Because large percentages of people in this country are hopelessly stupid. They hear their favorite talking head utter some BS about his/her favorite target and they... sheep as they are... chime in, bleating enthusiastically.
That just floors me. There must be more unthinking sheeple in America then I thought.
That's exactly what happens... every time. I am convinced the media's talking points blaming Palin for the (fill in the blank)tragedy were pre-arranged and pre-approved as a template long ago. The left just waited for its opportunity, and on 8 January, got it.
My thinking exactly. What is the point of this?
What the media did, pinning mass-murder on its political enemy on behalf of its ruling masters, is the kind of thing one would expect in banana-republics or communist dictatorships. If this lie stands, the country is essentially over.
Ditto. It makes me sick to see how far this country has fallen over the years. People will not be educated on pertinent topics, because they CHOOSE to stay uneducated.
NEVER underestimate the powerful evil of the MSM!
That lie will stand because powerful forces wish it so. As for the country being essentially over, I agree. I don't see a scenario in which we recover. But we sure had a great run, didn't we?
35% of Americans are Commies through and through. Take that into account when looking at any poll, and the world begins to make sense.
If the so-called “Main Stream Media” was constantly proclaiming SpongeBob SquarePants as the cause of the Tucson shooting I bet that there is 35% of the population that would believe it.
