When my wife was pregnant with our second daughter, she was getting up into the age where DS becomes a possible issue. We had a real tough time getting across the to doctors that we weren't interested in amnio, since the results would be irrelevant to us anyway. Amazing attempts by staff to talk around the reason for the test.
