Outgoing USA House of Representative Allen Boyd, (D/FL) said it best about what was a BIG FACTOR to why the Democrats in the House lost their majority and it was all about one person, the outgoing Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi:

“The face that defeated us”.

It was Speaker Pelosi and the out-of-control spending and over-extending of government control that in turn, created the perfect storm of angry voter backlash on November 2, 2010 which produced the conservative and tea party movement based taking back of the USA House of Representatives.

I helped the Brooklyn YRs campaign for Michael Grimm this past November. During the last weekend of electioneering we did pamphleteering which focused almost entirely on McMahon’s ties to Pelosi. Eight hundred pieces of campaign literature, and almost all of it aimed at San Fran Nan.

If I lived a few miles to the East I would have been in Boyd’s old district. I noticed during the campaign, his opponent used Pelosi in many of his ads.

Boyd was fairly conservative but made the mistake of supporting her for speaker. I really do think that is what doomed him. That district now has the first Republican since reconstruction.

Great job the voters in FL District 2 did in getting rid of Boyd and electing Steve Southerland!

We now have 19 Republicans and 6 Demorats representing us in the US House. We must vote out the six remaining DEM US House members and make sure we back great conservatives in the Primaries to get the job done! And of course, we must also replace Senator Bill Nelson!

Our state will also gain two more House Districts moving to 27 House Districts. Will be interested in learning where those districts will be.

Pelosi was such a gift. I volunteered in a local NY Congressional race last summer and fall. The incumbent Dem, who voted lockstep with Pelosi, was easy to attack on this basis. I went a little nuts with letter writing and had a lot of stuff published in district papers. It seemed to me the solution to beating the incumbent Dem was just to keep hammering him about being a Nancy boy. I mean is there anybody in the country that can stand her outside of San Francisco?

I hope they keep her as permanent minority leader. Just equate the Dem candidate with Pelosi and half the battle is won. Nancy "we need to pass the bill to find out what's in it." Pelosi. Wow! They don't make 'em any dumber than that. I hope they make pot completely legal in California. You have to be stoned to make sense of, and vote for, this idiot. We need more airheads like her leading the Dem Party.

And then ObamaCare is another gift. Attacking that piece of legislation is like shooting fish in a barrel. I almost wish they keep the stinking pile of excrement around for another election cycle. It's lots of fun smearing Dems with their own offal.
