Video: Christine O’Donnell says Joe Biden behind campaign fund misuse report
Examiner ^ | December 31, 2010 | Marc Schenker

Christine O’Donnell says Joe Biden is behind campaign fund misuse report. More specifically, O’Donnell is implying that Biden is sending the FBI after her in order to handle the alleged investigation that’s been started on her use of campaign contributions. Two days, ago the AP ran a story claiming O’Donnell was being criminally investigated, but O’Donnell herself has disproved that misleading report by asserting on the same day that no authorities ever contacted her regarding the AP story. Yesterday, O’Donnell fought back by pointing the finger at the vice president, saying that the whole rumor of a criminal investigation was in fact started by Biden. In 2008, she lost to Biden in the elections.

I hope Christine is innocent here (and she seems to be). BUT, if she did anything illegal then she better plead guilty quick and get it out of the news rather than whine about who is investigating her. I can see this hurting Conservatives and the Tea Party big time if this is dragged out and it turns out she did something illegal.

Look, Tom Carper is the other Dem Senator and up for re-election in 2012. He’s also a protoge of Joe Biden.

I can see Biden’s clumsy hand here trying to clear out any challenge by O’Donnel.

Biden is said to be clumsy, but Palin gave him a pass in her debate too. People in DE virtually worship him.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Biden were tied up in this.

It’s the way this administration does everything. With a hammer against their enemies.

I think the real name of this game is “Get Governor Palin”, and while they’re at it, “Get the Tea Party”, and use any government agency or authority at their disposal to do it. - In everything, the Democrats live by the double standard. Rangel gets a slap on the wrist, while Tom DeLay is in the process of being sent to prison for life. Scooter Libby was hounded literally to death in order to eliminate “Bush” and the Republican party long enough for Obama to get in the drivers’ seat and drive it off the cliff.

I don’t think the organized Democrat establishment has any desire to take down the O’Donnells or Palins of the world at this point in time. They WANT them to get nominations because they believe them to be unelectable in November. We may not agree with that assessment, but that’s how they read the polls and last month’s results in Nevada and Colorado and Delaware itself.

However, the MSM doesn’t have the same discipline to put winning in November first. They despise Palin more than they love Obama — and they like the ratings and readership sparked by focusing of Palin...

Tom Carper is the Marcel Marceau of the Senate. I am keeping his letter that stated “It remains MY (emphasis added) belief that a woman’s right to choose should prevail until the embryo she carries is sustainable outside the womb.” He goes on to state that he votes HIS beliefs.

I responded to his letter that he was not in the Senate to vote HIS views. He was there to vote the wishes of his constituents and that if couldn’t do that, he needed to find another line of work. He is going to answer for that letter.

I like your analysis because it rings true. In the criminal justice system, the Dems always seem to get away with basically everything while the Repubs are suffering much too harsh consequences, DeLay and Libby being great examples.

I guess the real question is did O’Donnell use campaign funds for personal expenses or didn’t she? If she didn’t then there isn’t anything to be concerned with. If she did then it will be something she’ll have to deal with.

None of this hurts Conservatives. You should turn it around and hurt Biden ~ his son wants to run for Senate and Joe's just trying to get COD to spend her last million campaign dollars on lawyers rather than using it for more fund raising.

Unless Uncle Joe can get that whittled down he and his son are going to face an uphill battle getting enough bucks together for another campaign in Delaware.

Used to be when the fix was in and the favored candidates were conveniently in place you could run a fairly cheap campaign. COB raised the bar several million bucks.

She still has a million bucks left over. She can put that to work raising funds and force the Delaware Democrats to match whatever she does with the money.

They don't want to do that.

Carper has the least amount of news in the Senate. He never says anything; never does anything; and I think actually announced he's not going to run for office again.

He's a little more than Marcel Marceau ~ he had a secretary or staff-assistant and she was dateless so he introduced her to a young man he thought just perfect for her.

Next thing you know that young man had killed her, chopped her up, and stuffed her in a plastic meat cooler that he put adrift off shore.

So much for Carper's judgment.

He should have withdrawn from public life years ago after that. But, like your typical Democrat he really doesn't care if his actions cause the death of others ~ quite the sociopath when you get right down to it.

I think his job at the university was to RAISE FUNDS and you know how those guys are ~ they put used car salesmen to shame.

The left, in all of its “forms”, is already worried about ‘11 and beyond, and their ongoing attacks upon non-leftists is further proof of this fact. The left can’t stand it, whenever they are not in complete control of everything important in the political world. The left is “going mental”, already, and ‘11 is just getting started. Bring on the popcorn!

This is ridiculous. If criminals like Charles Rangel, Maxine Waters and John Conyers can serve in the House even when they openly flout the law, then there should be no problem with allegations of misusing campaign funds.

Don't fall for the Democrat trickery. They want you to believe that it's irregular, maybe even unlawful, for candidates to spend campaign money on their personal needs.

But it's not. Otherwise the only people who could afford to run for office would be the rich.

The laws allow candidates to spend campaign money for personal expenses.

What really angers me is that Republicans see this being done and sit back and allow it to happen with no penalty for those who are doing it.
