WaPo: Obama's Just Like Us!
Three Fingers of Politics ^ | 12/29/10 | Blind Blueberry

Did you really think the media would give up on their president that easily? Not a chance – they’ve got too much invested. And we’re starting to see the emergence of their new sales pitch. Call it “Barry from the block.”

The Smartest Human Being Ever to Draw Breath suffered a “shellacking” in the midterms from an electorate too dim to appreciate the beneficence of his policies. Well then, time to dumb it down a bit and talk in terms the booboise can relate to.

Hence on Dec. 28 we have one of the dopiest articles ever to appear in that repository of dopiness, the Washington Post.

Remember when some pundits, just before the elections, were saying that the reason Mr. Obama wasn’t doing well in the polls was due his extreme erudition? We were too dumb to understand what he was trying to do.

Hah! Now, he’s just plain old Barry from the block?

Please.

Obama cares about the same stuff we do.

Sure, if our main concern was the destruction of the U.S. economic system and its replacement with a Euro-socialist budinski federal government, then you're right Hussein does care about the same things as the rest of us.
In the real world....not so much.

The AnnointedIdiot has no frakin clue what it is to be “just like us.”

As for WaPo, I have long been awaiting the day it files bankruptcy and sells itself for $1... =.=

Another indication of how extreme the leftwing media has become. This far into the Carter administration the media was giving him hell - it was clear he was a failure.

Today's media fanatics intend to go down with the SS Soetoro. Pray that its so.

I hope he doesn’t have ME on that list of people he intends to “get out there and connect with” after he returns from his luxurious, two week long, hideously expensive, tax-payer-funded vacation in Hawaii.

The weather’s a little chilly for ‘shave-ice’ in my neck of the woods these days.

> WaPo: Obama’s Just Like Us!

You mean, never worked an honest day in your lives?

That might be true at the WaPo.

The legacy media could only dream about having a republican president vacationing in Hawaii during the worst winter weather in decades.

And 11% unemployment.

And a collapsing public sector.

At the end of a year that saw record casualities in a foreign war.

...their just prepping us for Dumbo 2011 absenteeism from the WH. The latest is he really misses the common folk and he plans to “travel” more to see the serfs, I mean people.

When what is really going on is he constantly needs to get far away from the WH in order to “meet” his advisers and other creepy sorts. Remember he told us there would be a WH LOG so everyone would be able to see the comings and goings of people who visit....well, that sorta cramps his style. We can’t be privy to knowing Soros had 4 or 5 visits....this way he don’t have to explain to anyone who he is meeting or why.

In a way this is true, because the Wash Post reporter who wrote the article is a nasty gay black guy who wouldn’t have been hired if not for affirmative action and political correctness.

Went to the article and saw the pic.

Sure enough, he has the shirt sleeves rolled halfway up.

Must have been out chopping wood and plowing behind the mule with the commoners.

I wonder if they will start saying "why, he puts remoulade on his grits for breakfast..."

Do you have a working link to the Wapo article? The link buried in your blog doesn’t work, and there is no hint in your ‘article’ who wrote the article, or what the actual title is, so I can’t find it on Wapo’s web page.
