It would also have been nice if the GOP had not gone along. They could simply have said that there will be no major legislation by a lame duck Congress that has been repudiated--we will wait for January. And then shut the place down. But instead, they let it happen, and even joined in on some of it. They do not get it, and we don't have any control over them, yet. We need to gain another 10 conservative Senators and make even more gains in the house, and, most important, get a conservative in the White House. Then have the guts to implement a strategy of roll-back.

The next two years could be fruitful, if the GOP had the nerve to shut things down. I doubt it does, and so, it will be 2 years in which the Obama/Pelosi agenda as enacted remains in place, but their rampage of socialism is over. The Dems will be happy to accept gridlock, after 2 amazingly damaging years. The tea party needs to continue to press its issues, because the GOP will not.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the socialist rampage is over; Republicans apparently think their job is just to simply SLOW DOWN the socialists. They haven’t actually thought that they could stop it, let alone reverse it.
