Didn’t I hear a rumor that Mitt Romney will be running as a Democrat slightly to the right of Mr. Obama?

In large measure, narrow issue social conservatives do not want limited government. They just want a government that advocates in favor of their issues.

Say there is one Coca Cola in the mini fridge and 12 cans of Diet Coke. And you hate Diet Coke. You like Coca Cola but you are afraid it will over fizz or spill for some reason.
Are you thristy ?
lets go with the Coca Cola. lets go with Sarah Palin. I would rather fizz over than go diet or go flat.
I have no idea what I just typed

They arent, the DNC is pushing them out, so they wind up with us. Which is fine, but they should not be elected into office, since they havent a clue when it comes to constitutional limitations on government. Are you aware that Christians are the conservatives? Non-Christians are almost all liberal Democrats.
All of America's leaders should be devout Christians, just like the majority of the conservative voters are.

At one time you could find Christians in both parties. The Dem Christians were politically mistaken, but they were there.
Over the decades the Dems have steadily pushed them out, and they continue to bleed Christians. They have made it all but impossible to be a Christian and remain in the DNC. You'll still find them but fewer all the time.
Huck reminds me of what a Christian Dem would look like if Christians were still tolerated in the DNC. He is a nice guy; he is not a constitutionalist. He believes in "good" government, but limited government is a meaningless term to him.

There is no shortage of exceptional conservatives out there...They're conservative, except __________(Fill in the blank with their pet project which they deem everyone else should pay for).
This group is by no means confined to Evangelical Christians, and the mindset is common among those who think themselves "Conservative", albeit a cheap imitation thereof.
Get right down to it, and the Federal GOvernment has no Constitutional Authority to do most of what they are currently doing, and this is just one more item on the list.
Not all children have identical nutritional needs, or children in Florida would be craving seal blubber while kids in the arctic were clamoring for oranges.

Huckabee on child nutrition: I must side with Michelle Obama over Sarah Palin Hey Mr. Huckabee, have you looked at the two ladies' figures? Which one do you think knows more about taking care of herself, and by extension, probably knows what to realistically advocate as a diet/exercise program for kids?

Huck is an uninteresting toad.
Who gives a crap what he has to say?
He has resorted to the standard fare for getting attention from the media - dissing conservatives.

Hey Huck, who has the fat fanny? Who never saw food she didn’t like?

Typical Liberal. Nanny Huckabee has a hard time controling himself to stop shoveling sweets into his mouth so the answer is to ban sweets and regulate what everyone else can eat. He’s projecting his lack of personal responsibility onto everyone else and so the solution is government control.
