These firings started (withing North Korean territorial waters but very close to South Korean naval maneuvers) at approximatly 0900 a.m. local (Korean Time / 7:00 p.m East Coast Time 7 December), which was 2:20 hours ago; the release came at 1100 a.m. local, which was 20 minutes ago. Moving on Korean wires.t was to be expected that they would start shelling in an area near the South Korean navy. If they try for a direct hit on either of those two islands, hold on to your hats folks.

Believe me, appeasement leads to this behavior. We never learn, Republican and Democrat Administration alike, do we. Richardson may never get his planned trip to Pyongyang after all. Better call Carter, Clinton and Jesse Jackson as well to not even bother.
