Michelle Malkin IDs The RINOs On The Dream Act Fence - Including John McCain
Here's The Right Side Of It ^ | November 18, 2010 | John L. Work

Michelle Malkin has posted an interesting piece about the Senate Republicans who are uncommitted as to how they intend to vote on the DREAM act, which of course will provide a path to permanent resident status of illegal aliens who are still in the country. Here’s the link to her story, complete with a video of none other than the infamous John McCain (every conservative’s favorite) addressing a gathering of – illegal alien advocates.

http://michellemalkin.com/2010/11/18/dream-act-scorecard-the-gop-senate-fence-sitters/

Malkin has posted a list of the spineless Repubs who thus-far refuse to commit one way or the other on the amnesty bill that will not die: “..SEN. JOHN MCCAIN 202-224-2235; 480-897-6289: Staff says he “hasn’t made a public statement” and “hasn’t made up his mind.” He talked a tough border security game to get re-elected, while promising illegal alien activists he would “resolve their issues.” (Refresh your memories here.)

SEN. OLYMPIA SNOWE 202-224-5344; 207-874-0883: Staff says she “hasn’t released a statement.”

SEN. SUSAN COLLINS 202-224-2523; 207-945-0417: Staff says she “hasn’t released a public statement.”

SEN. LISA MURKOWSKI 202-224-6665; 907-271-3735: Staff says she’s “still reviewing the bill.”

SEN. SAM BROWNBACK 202-224-6521; 785-233-2503 Staff says he “hasn’t had a chance to look at it” and remains non-committal.

SEN. KAY BAILEY HUTCHISON 202-224-5922; 214-361-3500: Staff says she “hasn’t released a statement,” but will probably do so later today.

SEN. GEORGE LEMIEUX 202-224-3041; 904-398-8586: Recorded message informs callers that he’s “in a meeting.” He has yet to publicly state his position as open-borders extremists step up pressure…”

This is the same John McCain who co-authored the 2007 McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill that would have granted citizenship by midnight express for twelve to fifty- million aliens (depending on whose numbers you want to believe) – while America slept. But for talk radio and the conservative bloggers, like Malkin, he might have pulled it off.

Then Mr. McCain faced a real challenge from J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona primary for the 2010 Republican Senate nomination. This re-constituted McCain talked tough, asking, “Where’s the dang fence?”, or something like that. Well, he got himself elected again and look what’s he done – he’s going wobbly on illegal immigration. Anyone surprised?

Don’t look now, but there are still about two months left for the leftists (including McCain) to get this amnesty done – and by virtue of the millions of new Democratic voters, guarantee their hold on power for a thousand years.

When it comes to McCain, Arizona Republicans who voted for him get what they deserve.

Alaska voted for a national disgrace like Murkowski or was it the voter fraud that hasn’t been proven yet?

Hey, the primary/election are OVER! Juan can now go back to his RINO, sell-out ways. How’s that “conservative” senator working out for you SUCKERS in Nevada??!!

I don’t want to even talk about any kind of immigration reform until we’ve secured the border. Secure the border. Enforce the law. Let the chips fall. The problem will resolve itself over a very few years.

Granted, but do the rest of us deserve him, too?

If McCain learned anything it is that he can stick the knife in the backs of conservatives hard for five years straight, but as long as he puts on a good show during election year, he will still be reelected by the people of Arizona. Chumps.

I completely agree.

Now safely past reelection, he reverts to full-bore RINO mode.

You got to give it to lisa. She ain’t waiting to show all those rino republicans who voted for her just what they voted for. I know how Joe Miller would have voted and there would be no hesitation.

I think Alaska’s senate election results are a combination of voter fraud and democrats crossing over to vote against a conservative republican.

We have a lot to spare so I think those of us who live in border states should load some buses up and send some illegals to Snowe and Collins.

Snowe, Collins and Murkowski have no clue. The only illegals they’ve ever seen were their maids or gardeners.

I wonder... how many illegals does Pelosi’s husband employ in his hotels and vineyards?

So Sen. Switchback is up to his old tricks and hasn’t learned a single thing.

If George Lemieux even thinks he’s going to run for democrat Bill Nelson’s senate seat, he better vote against the DREAM Act.
