I once asked a lib something along the lines of the following: If you could double your income, but the guy who owns your company would get double your raise as a result, would you go for it? He said no, it wouldn’t be “fair.”

Many entertainers make more than we will see in a lifetime. Oprah brags about being a billionaire, as do many stars. Why not start with them?
