During an accidentally open telephone connection, someone on the staff of Jerry Brown, Democratic candidate for governor of California, called Meg Whitman, the Republican candidate, a “whore.” The sound quality was poor, but apparently it was not Brown himself. Reportedly it was his wife, the one person on his staff who could not be fired. How convenient. The liberal media treated the incident as a minor gaffe, if it was mentioned at all. NOW, the National Organization for Women, at first condemned the insult and called for the firing of the person who uttered it. But within a day, the position was reversed, and the head of the California chapter of NOW declared that the word “whore” was accurate as a description of Whitman. Leftism trumps feminism every time. For another example, look at the cover of the current issue of the leftist magazine The Nation. It caricatures conservative women politicians as scantily clad, seductively posed sex objects − in short, as whores. The use of the word by someone on Jerry Brown’s staff was not a slip of the tongue. It reflects how leftists, and many liberals, see conservative women. How sad. But how revealing of the leftist mindset.

The author is not seriously suggesting that the Brown camp saw Meg Whitman as a sex symbol, are they?

A prostitute agrees to leave after the contract has been satisfied. She understands that she has been paid to satisfy and vacate the premises for the agreed price.
Whores are reluctant to leave. They want to hang around and when told to leave they generally demand 50% of everything you own.

This is classic NOW double standard. They would cause a scene if anyone ever accused them of being whores but they reserve the right to deem anyone else a whore. All the more hypocritical when considering the Ms Magazine was funded by the CIA & that its former notorious editor was a CIA agent. Just demonstrates how they feel it is perfectly okay to engage in the very behaviour that they accuse others off & then feign outage when they are called out.
I honestly think that couples should get their gifts after the first five years of marriage. The charts show there is more divorces in the first five than anytime after.
The separation rate in the first five years for those cohabiting is a whopping 49%!
The Alinsky tactic is called projection. It is accusing another group of the same behavior that your group does.
The NOW nags serve the Iranian mullahs.

Prostitutes, at least, provide a service for their pay.
Not as an attractive sex symbol, of course not. They see her as if she were a bedraggled, middle-aged streetwalker - someone who is selling her soul for a few dollars. They believe that no one could honestly hold even mildly conservative views, but instead must have been paid off by THEM. And who are THEM? The super-rich like George Soros. Oops, never mind.
