Good points...

I agree with you that a lot of the real talent in the Republican Party are unknowns nation wide. This is unfortunate because we need their knowledge and backgrounds to clean up the mess in Washington...esp the economy.

I remember Lamar Alexander. He has been around for a while. But, like you, I can’t remember his political positives or negatives. I need to go do some research on him. I am sure there is plenty of info on him.

Someone made the suggestion that we should just wait and see who pulls out among the pack. That may be a valid point..I just hope we don’t miss a good candidate.

I don’t think she can think out of the box though.

Actually, that is something that she is famous for, even the left compliments her for that, nobody in politics is her equal for thinking "ourside the box".

What do people think about Lamar Alexander?

Such a rino that he shouldn't be in the Senate, he was too rino to even make any decent showing for the nomination for president in 1996.

They’ve been trying to do a Palin on Palin for the last two years, and she just keeps on coming. I don’t know what else they do except the same but louder.

She's a quitter and damaged goods. Period. I'll not support her against a far more qualified candidate who didn't cut and run. No amount of spin will change that fact. People here can throw a tantrum if they like, but I'm just calling it like I see it.

Thune, Pence, Rounds, DeMint, and Daniels are just a few of the more qualified candidates that I'll support over her.

Palin isn't batting anywhere near 100 with her endorsements... which seem to be "endorse the female over the male" in nature. I'll not support a feminist.

In fact, some of her endorsed candidates did quite poorly, (For instance, CeCe Heil finished THIRD) and in some instance she endorsed a RINO liberal who over the more Conservative Candidate (Handel over Deal, even after Handel was shown to be soft on abortion and was hanging out with sodomite deviants.) I think Palin endorsed Handel over Deal because Handel is female.

That's femi-nazi thinking. That's not conservative.

Lamar? You’re kidding. He is a wingnut. My bro. was his chef for several years when he was gov. of TN. Believe me, nobody wants that man as president.

I agree... and Michael Reagan said that Palin was his Dad in a skirt. She is the closest thing that we have... and I worked for Reagan in my state for both of his elections. No one else is even close in ideology or presentation.

“Actually, that is something that she is famous for, even the left compliments her for that, nobody in politics is her equal for thinking “ourside the box”.”

Maybe, my choice of words was incorrect. Perhaps, I am looking for “self-awareness”. Could it be I am just plain wrong?

At any rate, I sure wouldn’t let my daughter “Dance With The Stars” or anything on that order, if I wanted people to see me as a Presidential contender. I wouldn’t play into the MSM media’s interpretation of me.

This “We are just an average american family” isn’t going to cut it with serious people. In other words, I am of the old school that believes the Office of President should be honorable and dignified and held by serious minded people.

And I know that every President has had skeletons in their closets...but they tried to keep them in there. And most didn’t try to create any new controversies while looking at a Presidential run.

This is just my opinion and it in no way reflects on my admiration of Sarah Palin.

The mainstream media will continue trashing any viable opponent to the communist onslaught, as they have been doing non-stop since the days of Reagan, even since the days of McCarthy. The fact that they don't attack Romney, Huckabee, and others on the long list of non-conservative Republicans, is that they are not opponents to the communist onslaught -- they are facilitators for it.

There are no political gimics remaining for the communist Democrats and leftist RINOS behind which to hide the truth of their destruction of our economy, our culture, our freedoms, and our rightful place in world affairs as the best form of government in the history of mankind, warts and all. The traitors cannot undo their decades of treason, and reverse this economic and political train wreck. Things are going to get worse, and worse, and the American people are going to see it happen, and experience the ill effects, day after day, month after month. The standard of flipping back and forth between the overt communist Democrats and the stealth communist RINOs has run its course. Leftists media outlets are dying because people are turning off the lies.

Most people in this country just want to survive and, if possible, to prosper. More people each day are waking up to the fact that it will not be possible with "business as usual" with the Democrats and RINOs.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to stop repeating the propaganda of the leftist media, and start supporting and reporting the truth -- the truth that America can be restored to that shining city on a hill, that we can restore our Constitutional republic, that we as a nation can govern ourselves responsibly, that we can rebuild a self-sustaining economy with American production, American resources, American workers, American freedom, American optimism, and the Grace of God.

We don't need to continue choosing between the lesser of two communist evils. We don't need usurpers from Kenya, or ideas from Europe, or invaders from south of the border, or slave labor from Asia, or the idiocy from left of the mainstream. We just need Americans to quit believing the leftist propaganda. We don't need Democrats and their marxist plans; we don't need RINOs with their Free Traitor;®, outsourcing, offshoring, creative destruction nonsense. We don't need self-anointed elitists with their misguided Ivy League idiocy.

We are Americans. We win. They lose.

Righto, there techno, but DELAWARE is a Democrat state, not part of any electoral calculation that the Republicans might make.

Palin knew that the risks involved were slight. “Oh, no, the media will say that I couldn’t bring the victory to O’Donnell in a state that last voted Republican in 1988.”

The truth is that O’Donnell would be the most powerful Senator out there if she won.

Think prolife.

Think the feminists know that they can’t whine about their bodies and old men writing laws about them when the person out front is an attractive fertile woman?

Everybody knows this, and the GOP isn’t as prolife as the Dems are prochoice.

We should want Christine O’Donnell in there more than any other candidate anywhere in 2010. Especially if you’re prolife. If you’re prolife, it’s a no brainer.

So they’re predicting that Palin’s opponents will call into question her background, look at her past comments, and belittle her political viability by claiming she is a kook and an extremist? Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Ok.

In what respects? I have no clue about his record. Just that he’s old and has a long resume.

Can you say any things that show him more a RINO that Mitt Huckrich?

I don’t know what you are trying for, her “self awareness” is without equal, and helps her to think out of the box.

You seem to want to get at Governor Palin somehow, so now you try the DWTS appearence by her adult daughter, how would Governor Palin stop that, and why should she?

DWTS is a nice way for Bristol to make 4 to 10 times her annual salary, and to keep her public profile up for her national pro-life and abstinence efforts, the show does very well with the target demographic of her pro-life campaign.

Don’t you think that you should look into that old man before you start promoting him?

It doesn’t change anything.

But Palin can see exactly what worked and what didn’t. What did Christine do that worked and what didn’t.

She can see if Christine wins or loses exactly what’s going on in a Democrat state.

Christine wins, and Christine survived a relentless media onslaught. That would make Palin smile. Palin is standing strong, but Christine wins, and it shows that Palin can win after a media onslaught.

Not really. I’m not promoting him as much as throwing some names out there.

Mitt Huckrich is unacceptable and by October 2011 they’ll be dropping out of the race.

Quayle is 63, Lamar is 70, Elizabeth Dole is a little too old at 74. All ran before.

But, you know, please knock Lamar down. I’m not backing him, right now I’m just curious. Tom Ridge is another possibility.

Again, I’ve heard he’s a RINO, but to me Mitt Huckrich is just as bad, if not worse, and, to me, Ridge doesn’t have the glaring weaknesses of Mitt Huckrich.

And of course, we’re talking about Palin vs. whoever.

Okay, like I said I am probably wrong.

Before this turns into more than I intended, I will graciously back out and keep my thoughts to myself.

I hope Sarah Palin does well if she decides to run against the National Tragedy known as Barack Obama. She is an infinitely better human being and Presidential choice than he could ever be.

Nuff said...

Top endorsement in America, an incredible success rate, and ask Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Senator Lisa Murkowski and others if she always supports the female.
