In a decision that reads more like leftist talking points than a judgment based upon any true and sound legal determination based upon the US Constitution, Clinton appointed Judge George C. Steeh has ruled that the commerce clause gives the federal government the right to compel any and all citizens whom it wishes and to buy any and all demanded products whether they want them or not. In other words, the Marxist Judge Steeh has ruled that the US Constitution no longer precludes slavery of its citizens. [snip]
How before we are forced to buy GM cars.
Lock and load. One step closer to revolution.
Nailed it!
“... to compel any and all citizens whom it wishes and to buy any and all demanded products whether they want them or not. In other words, the Marxist Judge Steeh has ruled that the US Constitution no longer precludes slavery of its citizens.”
Sher Zieve was clear and to the point.
It’s actually worse—the idea is to force Americans to buy health insurance not just for themselves, but for 20 to 30 million illegal aliens, while the doors are kept open for more.
They are pushing for it aren’t they?
Right. Progressive commerce clause interpretation is ludicrous.
They are pushing for it aren’t they?
Pitchforks and torches. I am loading the truck. Next load won’t be any more gentile.
Well said!
Impossible...where can we read about this case, where did it happen....details please.
Indeed. This topic should be of interest to the CWII ping list.
WTF?????????
Are we getting pitchforks and torches ready?
I hope governor candidates respond to this today.
I would love to see Paladino tell them “Oh yeah? who you gonna get to enforce it?” and announce he would join all other governors to overturn this idiocy
It seems that the Interstate Commerce clause is the trump card against the Bill Of Rights and every Article of the Constitution. I’m so sick to death of corrupt, idealogue judges.
Freepers should study up on “The Commerce CLAUSE”
it is a CLAUSE in a bigger document, that was written to stop exactly these type of things.
In other words, the main document tells what the federal government CANNOT DO (more or less) but this one little “clause” (The Commerce Clause- or more correctly The INTERSTATE Commerce Clause) is used over and over to do the opposite of what the entire document was about.
...the commerce clause gives the federal government the right to compel any and all citizens whom it wishes and to buy any and all demanded products whether they want them or not.
To do so would be the trigger point in the final act that leads to a much needed civil war.
“... not just for themselves, but for 20 to 30 million illegal aliens ...”
Good point, and that’s how slaves are treated.
