Don’t know about that statement but I can say from experience that VN vets were spat upon without regard of politics. Seemed to be a common anti-war thread...
Now if you really want to question that, go to hell! I was spat upon my re-entry to the US from Japan (They did not care where they actually came from)...and called several names that I would not reproduce here...

From my experiences with Christine, if she said it, she has the background.
I’ve talked to her a couple of times (even gave her some advice) she listens! On one of the things that I thought I had reasoned out, she pointed out some of the problems she saw with it and opened herself to follow up from me and left it open to where I could expand or modify parts so she might be able to support it at a later date.
Soooo much better than Castle who thought he had all the answers and that that was all that counted. Needless to say, she is not subject to being pushed without convincing evidence. I like that!
