The standards for an endorsement at the National Organization for Women must be pretty low.
Less than 24 hours after the audio of someone in a conversation with Jerry Brown suggesting he put an ad out about his opponent Meg Whitman calling her a ‘whore’, the NOW announces their endorsement of Brown. Hmm…

"Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a “whore.” Coincidence? You be the judge."
"As if on cue, Brown’s campaign Friday released the endorsement from NOW championing Brown’s record on women’s rights. ”As Governor, Mayor, and Attorney General, Jerry Brown has promoted and defended women’s rights,” said California NOW President Patty Bellasalma."
You really have to consider what it takes for the NOW to not endorse a Democrat. Meg Whitman is a tremendously successful woman who has held executive positions including Disney, Hasbro, and eBay. She has been named one of the world’s most influential people by Time magazine. She is now running to become the first woman governor of California. She is pro-choice. Yet, NOW endorses Brown on the same day as the ‘whore’ audio hits the wires. Can NOW be any more obvious in publicly saying it is a partisan organization?
What do you expect from a group that abandoned its feminist principles and whored itself out as a wing of the Dem party years ago?
Sweet. Now it is OK to call Democrat chicks “whores” too.
The Nasty Old Witches would endorse a serial rapist over a Republican as long as he voted Democrat and supported Federally-funded abortion.

they also endorsed Grayson who spouted off about the “K Street whore” who ticked him off

By the way, that sounded like Jerry Brown’s voice that said the word whore, on that recording to me. IMO
N.O.W. does not support “whores”.... they only support Marxist tyrants.

Well, at least we know what it takes to get NOW’s endorsement. Just be a male candidate that calls your female opponent a whore and you’re guaranteed NOW’s immediate endorsement. Works for me.
