If you’re going to pimp your blog, at least have the decency to use the right category.

The city backed down. Here's a link to the Institute for Justice story: http://ij.org/component/content/article/35-economicliberty/3533-minnesota-small-farms-release-10-6-10

Minneapolis, Minn,—Farmers in Lake Elmo, Minn., can breathe a sigh of relief after the city tore down its protectionist trade barriers, restoring to farmers their freedom to sell produce grown outside city limits. Lake Elmo farmers, who faced 90 days in jail and a thousand dollars in fines for violating the trade ban, can now import and sell produce they have grown themselves, as well as sell produce they’ve purchased from farmers around the country.

He's pimping it.

Well, let's review then. When I ask:

What would you call a commodity that is pimped?

And you respond:

"a humblegunner"

What then is the conclusion that is drawn regarding your statement?

Are you drunk?

But they have to buy a permit.

This appears to be just another way to raise revenue. I have never heard of anyone needing a permit to sell anything legal from anywhere in any locale. Regulated items such as alcohol and tobacco, perhaps need permitting, but pumpkins? Christmas trees? Did this originally also apply to other garden produce? Eggs? Milk?

This appears nonsensical.
