Media Says Obama Should Learn From Carter. Learn What? They Don't Know.

These are actual quotes from the US News Story

Many Americans and historians have dismissed Carter as a failure, partly because he presided over such a terrible economy.

Understatement.

One of the key lessons from the Carter era that has lasting importance is that a president can't really govern as an outsider.

Or as a wimp with his international policy and a disaster with his economic policy.

As an outsider, Carter wouldn't compromise enough to get things done. He abhorred making deals with members of Congress and he disdained the news media, attitudes which hindered his effectiveness. By contrast, Obama has been willing to wheel and deal with Congress and shows respect for the media. This has given him an advantage in governing.

First of all, Obama hasn't governed. Second, he has in no way been willing to wheel and deal with Congress unless it's to get the liberal Stimulus and Obamacare passed. Respect for the media? Just Google "Obama Fox News".

Obama lacks any ability to persuade people or to make deals with his opponents. He has no interest in it, no experience in doing it, and no personality for it.

Bambi doesn’t give a good gosh darn.

Carter was a failure because he was a mushy liberal lame-brain. Obama is a failure, but he doesn’t care because he’s Caliph of the Universe (in his mind, at least).

Carter was dumb and useless, but he wasn’t crazy. Obama is.

The Obama method of dealing with anyone who dares to disagree with his divinely mandated wisdom. “I WON. I'M THE PRESIDENT.” End of discussion. Happy 11/2, Mr. Snippy.

Someone needs to draw Obamao on the bow of that disaster, with him screaming, “I’m the king of the world!”

Obama could learn how to fight off rogue rabbits, should he ever be threatened by one.
