I too know of some who struggle with whether God exists and whether He cares (agnostic). It truly must be a devastating thought to be totally alone in the world and life is worth nothing. Specifically I have some dear Christian friends whose son has been out of the country for a few years. He has totally turned 180 degrees, becoming a pseudo-intellectual/atheist/social-Darwinist. I pray for his mental health and safety.
I also pray for you.
