Last night I posted at FR the news that at a GOP dinner last night in Newcastle County, Delaware, Christine O'Donnell had received the endorsement of the Delaware state Republican Party and also the endorsement of the party chairman Tom Ross who claimed during the primary campaign that Christine O'Donnell (COD) could not be elected "dog catcher".

I have scoured the internet today and quite frankly I have not seen this story posted anywhere else. Did I make this story up? Well if I did then Fox 29 News in Philadelphia has some 'splaining' to do because I got my info from its video in which its reporter Claudia Gomez claimed what I just wrote above.
Now assuming this video and information is legitimate, why is this tidbit not been reported anywhere else to my knowledge?
a)THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE GOP LOCAL HIERARCHY WOULD EVENTUALLY ENDORSE COD AS ITS CANDIDATE AND GET BEHIND HER 100%
With what happened over the course of this primary, the knowledge that most if not all of the party leadership was in Mike Castle's corner and finally that Castle might be contemplating running as a write-in candidate nobody who is an objective observer of politics could say this was going to get done. Actually there was more evidence that it was not going to happen. So why is news of this consequence not news?
b)To my knowledge the recent posts on COD on Google have all referenced Bill Maher's clip that he posted on his HBO show last night. The national MSM who had shown to be literally politically infatuated with COD suddenly take an opportunity not to report this news story. Perhaps it doesn't fit their narrative that COD is an idiot and divisive and polarizing.
c)And finally as I have asserted all along, COD's main political problem was NOT the Leftist attacks by the MSM on her or even the cheap shots of GOP political pundits like Rove and Krauthammer but that the GOP local party had not embraced and endorsed her formally. Castle got 47% of the primary vote; there was no way COD could win the general election without a greater majority of these GOP members voting the party line. A poll was taken by PPP a day after COD's primary win showing Castle supporters will willing to vote for Chris Coons 44%-28%. Will the local GOP endorsement convince GOP members in Delaware not to vote for Coons but instead the party line (assuming Castle does not run as a write-in candidate)? The jury is still out on that but imho there is a certain percentage of GOP members who look to the party leadership for guidance and if the party is now backing COD, they'll get on board as they have been accustomed of doing in the past. Now how many GOP members do that is an open question. And of course if Castle does run as a write-in candidate, how much will the COD endorsement by the local GOP mean to Castle supporters? Again I don't know.
So again is this a conspiracy of silence or just shoddy reporting or inattention?
conspiracy of silence ?
They think by ignoring your existence you don’t exist and the people won’t find out about you. If you look at coverage here in New York you would think only two people are running for attorney general here in the state. The libertarian candidate Carl Person has even been mentioned, even though the libertarian party is the third largest in the nation and he managed to get on the ballot way before the primaries. The MSM is still in command of determining what gets covered or not. Hopefully we are beginning to see a revolution that will change all that.
Christine O’Donnell’s campaign website is up top at Google now, followed by Maher’s stupid witchcraft link.
Here are the endorsements Christine’s site lists. She needs to update daily.

Good article.
Thanks. I did not see that posted on the Internet.
This one, about Ross, is about 5 days old

You would think that a man who claimed that a candidate for his primary could not be elected dog catcher who eventually he had to get down on bended knee to, eat crow and endorse might be a juicy enough tidbit to generate some publicity. Man bites dog.
Not really. The media tries to help Democrats win. I’m not sure how Tom Ross getting in line helps Democrats win.
It’s a local story, actually. The Delaware media should cover it. Nobody outside of Delaware knows who Tom Ross is. We know Tom Ross because we were following the story before Sept 14. I wonder how many people currently following this story know that the Delaware GOP sued the Tea Party?
Christine has provided enough juicy TV footage to keep the national media busy, and off the backs of the other tea party candidates, until November.
Thank you for the link,ntnychik.
Is her campaign updating her list of endorsements daily?
What do we know about the following?
Jack St. Martin, a former Republican National Committee staffer who also worked for Ralph Reed’s Christian Coalition, has been hired as O’Donnell’s field coordinator. Fred Davis of Strategic Perceptions Inc., a California ad firm that has worked with several GOP candidates, has been hired as O’Donnell’s media coordinator.
Meanwhile, Katy French, chief speechwriter for RNC chairman Michael Steele, is on loan to help with O’Donnell’s campaign communications.

Looks like Jason needs to update the list. Bob Dole for one has endorsed her.
Maybe the new people will take care of it.
You’re right!
Bob Dole’s endorsement is a huge one right along with his generous donation. He gave her the max.
WOW!
That’s more GOOD news!
My take on Castle is he will not run as a write in. By suggesting he might it keeps Coons from cementing decision on what advertisement to use in the future ( waste money on developing ads he cant use), and gives COD time to get her feet on the ground.
Fred Davis did some of Fiorina’s ads. There’s an article online about it. Some paper didn’t like those ads. Something about a sheep. I’ve never seen the ads, so I can’t comment.
I would guess that if a guy from the Christian Coalition is doing field, that might effect something. I don’t know anything about this particular guy. I could type a whole bunch of hypotheticals here, but I won’t.
Overall, these seem like professionals, and this is presumably a good thing.
