I'm tired of these Republicans who say they are for the people and for their party, yet when they lose a primary, come hell or high water everything is about them. Charlie Crist did this crap in Florida. Now Lisa Murkowski has officially said that she is in the Alaska Senate race.
Now, if you haven't been paying attention to Alaska, let me fill you in. In August they held their Republican primary. The top two candidates were Joe Miller and Lisa Murkowski. Murkowski lost, Miller won, fair and square. But Murkowski couldn't let it rest...
Murkowski must step aside. Not only is she making a mockery of herself and is making her party look bad, she is hurting Joe Miller's chances to win in Alaska. Murkowski has no chance of winning. Even Sarah Palin has stated that her campaign is "futile."

How ridiculous to come out with this title after she announces she ‘s not stepping aside.
There have been some speculating that Rove has been attacking O’Donnell as a shrewd move to energize the conservatives. I wonder if they’ll post now and make the same claims that Murkowski is really doing a good thing for Miller by getting the base energized to support Miller.

Not so shrewd - what it's energizing conservatives to do is tell the national party to get lost. I won't be sending a nickel to them ever again.
She will lose and Miller will win. Anyone, Republican or Democrat, who is seen as being with Obama’s agenda are not in a good place this year (unless you are in Bawney Fwanks district).
Lisa will find that the same people who supported her in the primary are not going to flock to her in the general. Nobody likes a sore loser, nobody.

I’m starting to get the feeling that the “messiah” and Rimshot Joe gave Murkowski the same calls they gave to Crist and Castle. This is turning into an Americans vs. the politicians thing. IMHO.
There can’t be two Republicans in the race.
That should read Lisa Murkowski (I-AK).
And the GOP needs to move quickly to strip her of her affilliation, all committees, and funding.
She is running against the Republican candidate now, and the party must do everything it can to help their nominee and not aid outside threats to the party.
This will be a test of the GOP, whether or not it deserves continued existence at all.
Make that is not in a good place this year, not are.
They have done just that. She has been stripped of her leadership and all support. McConnell and Cornyn have spoken.
It’s ego and her quest for power that Murkowski is feeding. She doesn’t care about this country, it’s all about her! If the people of Alaska don’t get it, God help us all.

No. Rove is trying to poison the well against O’Donnell and prevent GOP unity. He is helping the Democrat to win.
He has shown his true colors. He is a ruling class POS, and he is trying to put down a peoples’ rebellion against them.
If the Tea Party candidates lose, then others will be discouraged from rising up against the Establishment, and these Tea Partiers won’t have a seat at the GOP table.

I agree with you although I stopped supporting the NRSC and the RNC long before Rove did his thing now. I think it was probably when they did all the armtwisting to keep Toomey from beating Specter in the 2004 primary.
I don't agree with those people claiming this week's actions are all just typically brilliant Rove strategery.
And how much RNC money does she have to return? I hear she has over $1 million left in her war chest.
