Good article ping!
Glad some on our side get it. Don’t be confused by Obama’s slights of hand. Obama and the left want to use President Bush’s words about not being at war with Islam as a cover for their complete appeasement and complicity when it comes to radical Islam. At least with President Bush, one knew he was trying to be diplomatic in his words after 911. With Obama, one almost has to wonder if he is not part of the coming Islamic caliphate designs for the world.(/part sarcasm..not sure what Obama is...just like the rest of Americans aren’t really sure.)
Yesterday, after Obama’s patronizing speech to our country telling us not to dwell on the images and horror of 911 anymore, I decided to spend almost the entire day and night watching everything on TV about that evil day. The history channel had a griping and horrifying special. I also spent time online reading and looking at pictures from that day and praying for the lost souls. I shed quite a few tears and sometimes raw, seething and righteous anger boiled up inside. My bet is that many people did the same thing and my hope is that many more will in the future. 911 isn’t a day to remember to be good community organizers or to work for some leftist greenie cause..IT IS A DAY TO REMEMBER THE EVIL THAT VISITED US THAT DAY,TO PRAY FOR OUR LOST COUNTRYMEN AND HEROS AND TO RENEW OUR COMMITMENT TO FREEDOM AND THE PROTECTION OF OUR COUNTRY AGAINST ALL ENEMIES..FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC.
NEVER FORGET!!
A Sept. 11 first responder filed a $350 million suit against the developers of a proposed cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero, calling it a "nuisance," "a terror risk" and "an assault."
The strongly worded suit, which was brought by a former volunteer firefighter from Westchester named Vincent Forras. who helped at the Trade Center site after 9/11, with the assistance of the conservative group Freedom Watch. It charges developer Feisal Abdul Rauf and Park 51, the organization behind the mosque, "are the front persons and in charge of operations for interests tied to terrorism," and "are believers in radical Islam and its jihad against America and AmeriCn interests." Theyve strongly denied those allegations.
The suit, which seeks class action status, calls the proposed center "a monument to the jihadists victory over American ideals of freedom and democracy, [and] a desecration of the terrible sacrifice made by those innocents attacked."
It claims news of the plans for the site have been worsening first responders injuries. Forras and others "symptoms and illnesses have significantly increased since defendants sought to erect an Islamic Center and Mosque on or near Ground Zero," and the "emotional, mental and physical pain resulting from defendants actions in planning and taking concrete steps to build the Ground Zero Mosque are intolerable."
The suit seeks damages for nuisance, emotional distress and assault. it says the legal papers were written by Forras, and that controversial Freedom Watch founder and lawyer Larry Klayman was acting as his counsel. A rep for Park 51 didnt immediately return an e-mail for comment.

I did the same, penelopesire. I immersed myself in the events of 9/11 again and could hardly go to sleep last night for the nightmares. About B.O.’s speech—it all depends on what the meaning of “diabolical work of our enemies” means. To him, it may not mean islamofascists at all. Perhaps he is referring to other “enemies”—you know, the bitter gun-and-religion clingers. Also, he refers to al Qaeda as a “sorry band of men.” Makes it sound like Robin Hood and his “band” of relatively harmless n’er-do-wells who, like Little John and Friar Tuck, occasionally work their mischief.
Today, nine years after that horrible event, I still feel intense anger when watching a pre-9/11 movie and a pan shot of NYC includes the magnificent Twin Towers.
The 9/11 documentary mentioned above contains the only known film of the first plane hitting the tower. This past week I rented United 93 from Netflix. Highly recommend it.
I hope one day to visit this 911 Monument on September 11th.
