The story that has the political establishment all abuzz today is the plan for Democrats to concentrate party resources on those with the best chances of winning so Nancy Pelosi can still wield the gavel. The sacrificial lambs and potential survivors will be chosen by party leaders in the next week or so. Not a great consolation for those from highly contested districts who were told they were better off voting for Obamacare than not. From todays NY Times:
"[Democratic] party leaders are preparing a brutal triage of their own members in hopes of saving enough seats to keep a slim grip on the majority.
In the next two weeks, Democratic leaders will review new polls and other data that show whether vulnerable incumbents have a path to victory. If not, the party is poised to redirect money to concentrate on trying to protect up to two dozen lawmakers who appear to be in the strongest position to fend off their challengers."
This is a disaster of their own making. Instead of governing from the center and including Republicans in the writing of highly controversial legislation, they sought to use their supermajority in the Senate and 40 odd majority in the House to cram through bill after bill drafted in secret and not made known until the last moment. The tone deafness of Democrats reached a peak this summer....

Good luck with that Commies.
Nancy Pelosi is going to continue to throw fellow dems under the bus.......The Dem lemmings will still continue to follow her over the cliff....
redirect TAXPAYERS money?
She’ll promise them a return after the election.
Ahh the so-called bluedog sacrificial lambs who believed Nancy are getting their justice. Fools all. Only those on the hard left will be getting any support.

You f-ed up! You trusted us!
I love their tactic of having all of their “media” talking heads on the Boob Tube telling everyone that if we don’t stop badmouthing Barry Soetoro and his commie ‘RATS, everything is going to “backfire” and we won’t have our “tsunami” in November. LOL! Some pinhead was on FOX this morning saying that La Raza (The Racists) sent the GOP a letter telling them that if the Republicans don’t back off on immigration, the Hispanics were going to continuing voting for the DemocRATS. LOL!!!
Peloshit just as toxic to her fellow libtards as she is to the rest of the country. With friends like her...
It’s ironic that the first death panels resulting from the Health Care Takeover Act of 2009 will be for the fools who passed it!
Think about it!
If this is how Pelosi treats her friends - how do you suppose she treats her enemies (aka the rest of us)?
The RATS do know how to cut something when they have to save their own a crooked degenerate careers $, but cutting the nations suicidal deficits to save the country...........
I call it poetic justice myself.
This Tuesday, Michele inaugurate a White House series showcasing American dance.
Democrats, thugs that they are, always work to win. Republicans, on the other hand, nominate clowns and losers like Dole and McCain because it’s “their turn.” I doubt they’ll ever learn that the well being of the nation comes before the whims of party elders and ruling class elites.
I don't know. I was so disheartened to read a blog of a friend of my son's ... a hunter and a conservative. He says he could care less about healthcare and thinks our blue-dog deserves to stay. Our rep voted for stimulus, but got a pass on healthcare, although he won't sign up for the repeal.
How do you reach people to get them to realize that it's all been theater for the gullible electorate? That they get permission to vote no when the bill will still pass? That they name the bill and then stuff it with items unrelated or complete opposite of the supposed intent? (What does giving my medical records to politicians and bureaucrats have to do with stimulus? What does taking over of student loans have to do with health care?)
That's what keeps me worrying about November.
