The utter hypocrisy in our media and on the left is on display with the above graph.
The United States has now lost more military men and women in Afghanistan under President Obama than during 8 years of the Bush Administration.
We couldn't go a day without frontpage headlines emblazoned across every paper and on every nightly newscast about the death toll in Iraq. Each new report vilifying Bush.
Now?
Not so much blame for our current President.
Hmmmmm, I wonder why?
A couple of years ago, every casualty in Iraq was front page news. Tallies of casualties could be seen on the front pages of newspapers, commentators would slowly recite the names of the fallen, even Doonesbury would print a list in the Sunday comics. It was Bushs war then, and people needed to see just how heartless he was wasting the precious lives of our service men and women over there!

Needs a siren!
The problem with this complaint is that the current coverage is how it SHOULD be. Sure, it was BAD COVERAGE under Bush, but the answer isn’t to push for them to provide bad coverage now for Obama.
You can’t fight a war if the newspapers make front-page angst out of every death. The news SHOULD be asking WHY people are dying, in case the reason is bad planning or poor execution that we need to know about.
Obama the warmonger!
It continues to amaze me of the true evil that occupies the WH. No remorse, just more vacations. I couldn’t live with myself if I knew of the lives lost because of my incompetence.

Not good news with my son being set to deploy to Afghanistan come April. Prayers for our troops and for our nation!!
Had he listened to his military advisors and actually got serious about this war (ie, the surge), perhaps there would not have been that many fatalities. A good leader would have done whatever it takes to win a war instead of goofing off and playing politics.
Lots of prayers for the safety of your son...and for all of our other brave men and women over there.
Thank you.
Amen to that.
Much better than my post. Thanks for the fix. :)
Would have been even better had I turned of the italics for my comment ;-)
