I find it interesting that during Obama’s yapping tonight he spoke positively of George Bush basically for the first time since becoming president.

Why?

Obama has no credibility left.

The ONLY credibility on Iraq belongs to George Bush.

So Obama had to borrow some cred from George.

Bush was a great American who cared about the troops, loved America, and was committed to national security. So Obama must be that all that stuff, too.

Obama’s floundering Afghanistan policy? It was a surge just like Bush’s. Which means it can’t be that bad (although Obama’s withdrawal date timetable remains as terrible and as stupid as ever).

And Obama doesn’t have to say he was completely wrong, because, after all, we live in a country where differences is okay. And so Obama wants us to “move beyond” our criticism of him.

The Chihuahua-in-Chief has spoken.
