The “difference” is, a McCain win counts towards the majority we need to take the country back, dumb-ass. Its obvious you don’t know the difference.

McCain can beat the Democrat.

...because he's more of a DemocRat than the Democrat.

A McCain win DOES NOT MEAN ANOTHER REPUBLICAN SEAT. The sonofabitch votes with the Democrats a good 75% of the time. Stop kidding yourself that putting McCain back in Congress will do ANYTHING for the Republicans other than f__king them over yet again.

he votes with us when his vote doesn’t help and against us when it would. He is only conservative when he is running for office

If McLame takes the primary, then I would much rather not even cast a Senatorial vote in the general election. In all probability, I’ll write in “None Of The Above” — or maybe just “F__k You”.

You noticed that too? The Conservative side seems to shoot their own all too often.

There is nothing consevative about McCain. Sorry if you were referring to the lies McCain told about JD ::smirk::

I don’t know of anyone voting for McCain either. Everyone I have talked to can’t stand the guy. I guess the $20mil McCain has spent can buy votes too. I am as confused as you are as to why he is up that far in the polls. I guess we will find out today.

You're an idiot. His seat counts towards OUR MAJORITY regardless of how he votes.

WITHOUT A MAJORITY WE CANNOT CONTROL THE SENATE AGENDA AND THEREFORE CANNOT OVERTURN ANYTHING OBAMA HAS DONE.

Do you know anything about government? Do you know what having the majority means? Can you recognize large land masses?

“Not only did he have the $30 million, more helpful was having Fox News on his side. It wasn’t just the product placement tactics that Hannity and others gifted McCain with, it was the virtuall shutting down the story from day one.”

You got it. Hannity and Rush could have stood by Hayworth, but pussed out, like they did on immigration years ago when we could have actually done something about it. Last night CBS outlined the big 4 senate races, including McCain, but they didn’t even mention the name HAYWORTH, much less show his face. Until everyone realizes we have to attack this media first, we’ll always have ‘their’ candidates.

The real question is how deep does McCain’s influence go? He had all the media in his pocket plus all the major endorsements. McCain is one evil man who had to spend over $20 million in a primary. Scary stuff.

In one sense, and AFAIK only one, it does. He counts as a Republican for purposes of determining who's the majority party (course if it ends up so wobbly one member makes he difference, I'm sure he pulls a Jeffords), and the majority party selects committee chairs and gets majority representation in committees. So he's truly a "Republican In Name Only" and yet that actually matters!

Indeed. Might as well start a pool and bet on how long it will take McLiar to start with the ‘regularization’ & ‘comprehensive reform’ BS again.

I give him a week.

John McCain - the WORST Senator money can buy!

Since you are not smart enough to make your point without vulgarity, and name calling, responding to you would be pointless.

You're an idiot. His seat counts towards OUR MAJORITY regardless of how he votes.

Having a Republican "majority" in the senate, and $2, will let you board the subway.

If we aren't going to have a majority of Senators who will vote on our side, we'd be better off not having a majority. The only thing a "numerical majority" is good for is being scapegoated as the "party in power", drawing the blame when bad things happen.

If his is the vote that determines which party holds the majority, do you think he'll allow Republicans to fill the chairs, or will he insist that they be filled with RINOs?

Actually, if it hung on his vote, he’d probably switch to the Dems so they could have an uncontested majority, like Jumpin Jim Jeffords.

“On balance...McCain hurts us in the Senate more than he helps us.
Any votes with conservatives pale in comparison with the damage he does us while agitating against other conservatives to his friends in the media.

And his consistent sympathizing with the left, his surrender and compromising with the left, and most disturbingly his coauthoring of left-wing legislation.

He legitimizes the left daily.

I don’t consider him an asset at all, and would have no problem with the Dem beating McCain.” - roses of sharon

VERY well put sharon. Ironically, in the long haul, if those morons in AZ nominate this dim wit, the conservative movement would be better served if McCain LOSES the general election - and - I have a feeling that the intelligent conservatives in Arizona will not vote for McCain because of the facts you succinctly propounded.
